Christina Haack was conceived in Anaheim, California. Her first job after school was as an agent for real estate. It was here that she got to know Tarek. After the 2008 crash of the stock exchange, the real estate market was hit hard by investors and those who were house flippers lost their money. Tarek El Moussa & Christina El Moussa had a chance to be bankrupted by the stock market crash in 2008. They moved from their expensive house, for which they paid $6,000 per month, to a modest home that cost just $700. The economy and their business overall slowly regenerated. HGTV and Rise to Fame Tarek in 2011, asked a person to help him create an HGTV tape that showed Christina as well as him flipping an entire house from beginning to the end. Pie Town Productions' executives got hold of the tape. They were in love with Tarek with Christina. The couple officially signed a HGTV contract in the year 2012. "Flip of Flop" was launched in April 2013. Between 2013 until 2017, the show was a hit for 7 seasons. Christina and Tarek were the two characters on the show, were able to purchase homes, typically mid-income properties located in Orange County. Tarek is focused on the demolition and renovation, and Christina oversees the creating the design. She also ensures that everything runs on time.
