Linda Edna Cardellini is the daughter of Lorraine (Hernan), a mother and Wayne David Cardellini (a father) who is an entrepreneur. She is of Italian, German (from the paternal grandmother), Irish and Scottish descendance. Linda was born in the San Francisco Bay region, California as the youngest out from four children. When she was in her tenth grade, she began to be attracted to acting after performing in a play at school. Then she began to appear in community and school stage productions. Linda attended Saint Francis High School, Mountain View in California. Lily James is a stage name used for Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson, an English actress born April 5, 1989. She studied at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama and made her debut with the British TV show Just William (2010). Her breakthrough came in 2015, when she portrayed the leading role in Cinderella which was a film about fantasy. Her previous roles included the role of Lady Rose MacClare as part of the period series Downton Abbey. James then played The Countess Natasha Rostova on the TV version of War & Peace in 2016. In addition, she has starred in a variety of films, including Baby Driver (2017) and period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society 2018, and The Dig 2021, as in the musicals Mamma Mia! We're Going To Again (2019) as well as Yesterday (2018). Her performance as Pamela Anderson in the biographical series Pam & Tommy (2022) was nominated for a Golden Globe and a Primetime Emmy Award.
