Anamaria is an Romanian Actress. Her debut on screen was by appearing in the Channel 4 film Sex Traffic where she received the British Academy Television Award for the Best Actress. She speaks French, German, English as well as Romanian well. Her mother played the violin and her father is director of one of Romania's most prestigious drama schools. She also appeared in Francis Ford Coppola's film Youth Without Youth. In 2008 she portrayed Yasim anwar in BBC mini-series The Last Enemy. Marinca made an appearance in the Romanian drama Boogie and Oliver Hirschbiegel's award-winning Five Minutes of Heaven. In the movie Fury (2014) her character was Irma who was a German woman who is Emma's aunt.
