LeBron Raymone James Sr. born on December 30, 1984, is an American professional basketball player who represents the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). King James has been widely considered to be among the most notable players in basketball. Michael Jordan is usually the subject of debates about who is the best player. James won two Olympic golds and four NBA titles. James has scored the second highest number of career goals, and the seventh-highest assists. James has been named as an NBA All-Star 18 times. He has been selected to be an NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times. He was also selected to be named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. James was the third player to compete in NBA Finals. Eight of the games were in consecutive order from 2011 to the year 2018. James was chosen to be part of the NBA's 75th Anniversary Team for 2021. He became the NBA's first player to score 10,000 points, rebound and assist in 2022. James played basketball for St. Vincent St. Mary High school in Akron in Ohio. He was hailed by the national press as the next NBA superstar. In 2003, the Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the top pick in the NBA draft in 2003. In his time as the NBA rookie player in 2004, he established himself rapidly as one of the best players in the league, earning the NBA MVP awards for the 2009 and 2010 seasons. James was not able to secure the award with Cleveland, and departed the city in 2010 as"a "free agent" in 2010. This decision was made during the television special The Decision.
